Are lab-created diamond real diamonds?
Why are lab-created diamonds cheaper?Yes, unlike CZ's and other white stones, lab-created diamonds are identical to mined diamonds in terms of chemical composition, crystalline structure, brilliance and hardness. They are graded by the same “4Cs” – clarity, cut, colour and carat and are meticulously carved and crafted from rough stones into exceptionally beautiful pieces of jewellery. The main difference between lab grown and mined diamonds is that lab-created diamonds are grown above ground and mined diamonds are drawn from below ground.
Created in a laboratory above ground, they have a very different, conflict free, supply chain than mined varieties and this enables us to offer an extremely high quality diamond.
How are lab-created diamonds made?
It's an innovative process that replicates the way a mined diamond forms, meaning our lab-created diamonds are unique and individual, the same way mined diamonds are. Just like mined varieties, our diamonds are rated for quality by the 4Cs: cut, clarity, color and carat. A lab-created diamond will be visually indistinguishable from a mined diamond.
Certified Diamonds
All our stones at 0.5ct and above are certified by the IGI (International Gemological Institute) and come with their own paper certificate highlighting the details of its exceptioanl quality and grading.
